How to post to Instagram from Claude

1. Connect Instagram

   Sign up free on Ghostedit and press Connect next to Instagram.

   In Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. Paste https://mcp.ghostedit.ai and press Allow.

3. Ask Claude to post

   Send Claude the video link and a time. It checks the video and schedules it.

   Post this reel to Instagram Tuesday at 9am.

• Move Friday's post to Saturday at noon.

Can Claude post to Instagram by itself?

No. It needs a connector like Ghostedit. Add it once and Claude can post, move and cancel posts.

Is it allowed?

Yes. Ghostedit uses Instagram's official API.

Turn Ghostedit on in this chat: click + in the chat box, then switch Ghostedit on.

My personal account isn't listed

Instagram only lets apps post to business and creator accounts. Switching is free in the Instagram app.
