The short answer

Ghostedit or ManyChat?

Use both if you already have ManyChat: keep it for DMs and post from Claude or ChatGPT with Ghostedit. Pick Ghostedit alone if you want posting and comment-to-DM in one tool at a flat price. Pick ManyChat alone if you only need DMs, or WhatsApp and Messenger. ManyChat doesn't post.

Pick Ghostedit if

You use ManyChat and want posting that works alongside it
You want comment-to-DM plus posting in one tool
You want a flat price that doesn't grow with your contacts
You want to set up DMs by asking Claude or ChatGPT

Pick ManyChat if

You need long DM flows, or WhatsApp and Messenger
You only need DMs and nothing else

Questions

Ghostedit vs ManyChat: common questions

Can I keep ManyChat and use Ghostedit just for posting?

Yes. Your ManyChat flows keep working on posts Ghostedit publishes, since they're normal posts on your account. Ghostedit's own comment-to-DM comes at no extra cost and stays off unless you set it up. Just don't use the same keyword in both, or people get two DMs.

Does Ghostedit do what ManyChat does on Instagram?

For the most common use, yes: someone comments a word on your post and gets your link by DM. ManyChat goes further with long DM flows and other apps like WhatsApp.

Is Ghostedit cheaper than ManyChat?

Usually. ManyChat Pro is $39 a month for 2,500 contacts, then $0.05 per extra contact. Ghostedit Creator is $19 a month with 30 DM automations, Pro is $39 with unlimited, and neither charges per contact.
